TEA is proud to present "Dog Days" as the second part of The Timeless Collection. This piece has been a long time coming and I am really excited to show it to you all!
The Timeless Collection is a group of handmade bracelets designed to look like watches, but the twist is that none of these pieces actually tell time... and thats the whole point! Instead of looking at your piece and thinking about finishing your to do list before the day comes to end, take it as a reminder to relax your mind, slow your thoughts and live in the here and now! It will actually help you get that to do list done with less stress if you can train that inner monologue to stop running wild.
I decided to make this piece as a tribute to the Summer which helped me to decide to pick a Golden Beryl as the centerpiece. Golden Beryl is also known as Heliodor and the literal greek translation of Heliodor is "a gift of the sun". So HERE we are in the midst of Summer, and if you need something to elevate your style and keep you cool without breaking a sweat. Look no further because this Timeless piece could have your name on it...

This new piece, entitled Timeless, marks the beginning of a new T.E.A. Jewelry Collection, a new year and chapter for me as an artist. Every metal smithing technique I have learned up to this point has accumulated into this one project. It has taken me 6 months from design to completion and I have put in 160 work hours into it. I literally have poured blood,sweat, and tears into this project and happy to introduce the Here and Now Collection to you all!
Timeless is hand made with Sterling Silver and White Gold in its entirety. The process started with cuttle fish casting, and ended in hand fabricating the hinges, clasp, sheet details, and stone settings. I am proud to have included an aquamarine that has been designed and cut by John Dyer. He has been an inspiration to me ever since I first was introduced to his work and felt that it was only fitting to include one of his pieces in this milestone for Third Eye Assembly.
The artistic vision for this piece lies within the idea of living in the present. I have come to realize that when I am living in the now and not letting my mind wander too far into the future or the past, that I make smart, creative, and healthy decisions. It has also proven to create happiness in my mind and therefore all around me regardless of all the struggles in the world that can so easily make me feel otherwise. This ideology is shared by so many different people, from Ram Dass, the author of "Be Here Now", to the Seahawks quarterback, Russell Wilson who shared on national TV last sunday that living in the Now helps him play well and stay focused when under heaps of pressure.
To me, being Here and Now is a thought process that will ultimately lead you towards a more happy, spiritual and healthy life. And who doesn't want those things ?!
